I don’t really make New Years Resolutions….(at least I’ve never called them that). But I did want 2010 to be an amazing year. Over the holidays we enjoyed family time, but come Monday, Jan 4th, I had BIG plans. Not that I’d ignore the blogging world, but I really wanted to PLAY a bit more…two-year old’s are amazingly fun after all.
Well……2010 hasn’t exactly started off the way I would have wanted (no need to bring THAT back up), but with a little headache medicine (FREE of course, after coupons), I’ve been busy.
Little One finally has a CLOSET!
True Confession. For 2 1/2 years, she hasn’t had a closet. Not that there isn’t one in her room. There is, and it’s a rather nice, large one. It’s even got a handy gadget where the light inside automatically turns on when you open the closet door. COOL! It’s just that Mommy and Daddy had that closet packed full (with their stuff) before she was even the size of a peanut…..with no real place to move it to.
After a Christmas of receiving new toys, we finally decided she needed her own closet. We completely rebuilt the insides (a custom job thanks to Daddy)…..and it’s awesome. I even have a place to hang that new darling tutu that I’ll be reviewing soon over at An Island Life.
Now, what to do with all the STUFF that was in HER closet? That’s for another day.

You can’t just throw away those adorable boxes you get from Build-a-Bear, especially when you have a little one that LOVES any type of craft project (not to mention Hide N Seek). We’ve had fun coloring and hiding…….yes, Mommy too!

Although I had many (what seemed like forever) days without blogging (and completely enjoyed my family), I’ve had to work on getting everything together for this new and improved site……a bit more blogging work than I had planned on for the new year, but I’m excited about the possibilities. My own domain……self hosting…….it’s all new to me, and I have sooooo many people to thank in the coming weeks!
So, tell all your friends! This is the new site focused on saving and sharing, with an old friend (me).
