I had to clean the toilet today. Now I like a sparkly white and clean toilet just as good as the next gal, but I HATE, no…make that LOATHE, cleaning the toilet. Always have… ever since I was old enough to be assigned that chore by my Mom. Every week like clockwork I was expected to clean the bathroom from top to bottom, but I always saved the toilet for last. Still do.
I used to be “old school” when I cleaned the toilet. You know, I had one of those old toilet scrubbers that sat in its little cubby and probably grew a million microscopic germs. I just shiver thinking about it. All that changed when I had a little one in the house….couldn’t have that toilet scrubber anywhere she could grab it. Thankfully, I discovered Scrubbing Bubbles® Fresh Brush® 2-in-1.
While I have used this product for awhile now, I discovered there’s a new product that goes along with it (I NEVER KNEW…more later)! The Scrubbing Bubbles® Fresh Brush® 2-in-1 Starter Kit includes:

MUST-HAVE: In my opinion, this is a must-have product for anyone with children. The handle hangs on the side of your toilet tank (and just the handle). There are no scrubbing pads with chemicals (or germs) attached. That’s the beauty of this product. When it’s time to clean the toilet, you go to wherever you store cleaning supplies and attach the single-use max pad to the handle. You don’t touch it….the handle grabs it for you. Brilliant! Scrub the toilet (it does a great job) and slide the button to release the “icky” pad into the trash. All that’s left is the handle. Just to be extra safe, I always clean the handle thoroughly. Easy…and much more sanitary than my “old school” way!
Flushable Pads: I’ve just been buying the Single-Use Max Pads for my regular cleaning and had no idea that Scrubbing Bubbles® had the flushable pads for quicker in-between cleans. I’d better start paying better attention at the grocery store…who knows what else I’m missing!
Scrubbing Bubbles® Toilet Cleaning Gel: This product helps us keep the toilet extra clean in between scrubbing sessions. You don’t put anything inside the tank (which my plumber would be happy with), you simply “stamp” a gel disc onto the side of the toilet bowl. Mine is a tie. Toilet bowl cleaning def for the ick factor. I have recently tried the “if it’s yellow, let it mellow” theory and our toilet bowl has taken a turn for the worse since then. It never used to bother me to clean it before. I may have to start flushing with a bucket of water.
And the other is vacuuming. I loathe it. For one I have dust allergies. And the noise of it all just sends me up a tree. Instant headache. And it seems to always need being done. Oh to have hardwood floors again.
But I love dishwashing and laundry.
I cannot stand LAUNDRY!!!

I absolutely hate dusting–it seems so futile. I no sooner finish dusting, and you can see a layer of dust again within the hour.
I love vacuuming and I don’t really know why but I always have.
I vacuum so much more than I dust.
