If you read popular magazines like InStyle or Marie Claire, or watch shows like CNN, Good Morning America, and Oprah, you might recognize the name Perricone. Dr. Perricone is a real doctor (Yale medical school included)….a board certified clinical and research dermatologist, whose research in the skin care field has resulted in a wide variety of products, designed to fight inflammation.
Dr. Perricone believes that cellular inflammation causes wrinkles, and now that I’m in my late 30’s, yep, I’ve got a few. He recommends fighting the inflammation through diet, supplements, and his award-winning skin care products. My skin has definitely changed in my 30’s…..aging, hormones from pregnancy, and I’m sure stress doesn’t help. So I signed up when offered the chance to review some Perricone MD products.
I received a Basic Samples Kit, which included the Nutritive Cleanser, Firming Facial Toner, and Face Finishing Moisturizers. I used them until they were all gone and really liked them. It became part of my morning and evening skin care routine. I have very sensitive skin and the products were very gentle, which I liked alot. You just never know.
My favorite product has to be the Firming Facial Toner, which is recommended to apply with a cotton ball/pad twice a day on face and neck. I’ve always loved the clean feeling I have after using a toner….not to mention seeing the extra dirt/grime show up on the cotton ball. The Face Finishing Moisturizer feels like the lightest moisturizer I’ve ever used……doesn’t even feel like you put anything on. From what I can tell, it doesn’t contain sunscreen…and I love that. As a stay-at-home mom, there are plenty of days that I’m inside (like these HOT Texas summer days). There’s no need for me to put on the extra chemicals involved with sunscreen.

I’m in my late 50’s and am getting pretty bothered by lines and lack of firmness (especially my neck). I’d love to find a product that makes my skin younger.
I love the cleanser that I use now but I am always looking for something to help firm up my face…and good, light foundation.
I would like to try the hair and body supplements.
i have to say, i’m terrible at taking care of my skin. i wash it twice a day, but have never done moisturizer or anything b/c i’m acne-prone. i really need to start, now that i’m pushing 30.

Hmmm…the Cold Plasma Eye sounds interesting. Sometimes, I wake up with darkness under the eyes – hate it.

I would LOVE these products because I’m 44 and trying to lose weight, going through early menopause, am starting to get wrinkles and also have sensitive skin and don’t like wearing heavy makeup. This sounds perfect for my combination skin.
