Congratulations to:
#36 Chels
As I was standing in line the other day, I got into a conversation with the lady in front of me. I couldn’t help but talk to her. You see, she was buying Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake. She was buying it for her young niece who was about to start ballet class, but really didn’t know much about it. So, I shared…….
Our love affair with Prima Princessa all started with Prima Princessa Presents the Nutcracker. My 2 year old sat through the DVD once, and never again. Sat, that is. From that moment on, whenever Prima Princessa was on, she had to run and put on her tutu……and dance. I’m talking twirling, up on tippy toes, and even an arabesque (two-year old version)!
I was absolutely thrilled to be able to review the other Prima Princessa DVD, Prima Princessa presents Swan Lake. I knew this meant even more dance-filled afternoons in the living room…..something that this mom just adores (and might join in on…..Shhhh, don’t tell).
Sometimes she even has a dance partner…..as seen here with “Bunny”! Priceless!
The DVD features Prima Princessa narrating once again and explaining to children what is going on in a real-life adult ballet performance of Swan Lake, performed by the Paris Opera Ballet. For those of you not familiar with the ballet, it’s the story of a princess who was turned into a swan by an evil curse. My daughter was mesmerized as usual by the ballet performance then quickly turned into a dancer herself in between acts as Prima Princessa guided children through ballet steps. At approximately 40 minutes long, the DVD is the perfect length for young children’s short attention spans, and it encourages activity.
I’ve always loved the ballet, so it’s no wonder that I’m a huge fan of Prima Princessa. Swan Lake, The Nutcracker….these are classic performances that I can’t wait to take my daughter to when she’s older. For now, she and I will keep dancing in the living room thanks to Prima Princessa.
FRUGAL TIP: Not only are these amazing DVD’s, but each of the Prima Princessa DVD’s can be purchased at Amazon for $6.99. These are perfect gifts for young girls……and thinking ahead, would make great stocking stuffers!
UPCOMING: In January, we can expect to see Prima Princessa presents Sleeping Beauty! Seriously, I can’t wait!
Be sure to visit Prima Princessa online, where you’ll find coloring pages for fun and really is a resource for all things ballet!

I would love to win for my little princess she love to dance !!
my daughter Emma (3 years old) would love this dvd. she would also benefit from it since she was in ballet for a year. We recently moved out of state due to economic hardship. Since moving we can no longer afford ballet classes for Emma. She misses her dance class terribly. but i promised her that I will do all i can to get her back in ballet as soon as I can. I am currently working on some fundraiser to help with tuition costs. This dvd will keep her excited and maybe not missing her class so much.
thanks for the opportunity to win this!!
