Have you heard of Rapture Fashions? This new online boutique was started by Jen Mayer, a “Frugalista” herself who loves to shop online for great deals.
Jen started this online boutique to help other women who don’t have time to search the racks for great finds, but would rather do it on their own time at home. Unlike department stores, Rapture Fashions purchases only limited quantities from unique designers to keep styles one of a kind. They are continuously looking at fashion trends and committed to scoping out new and upcoming designers.
ACCESSORIES and HANDBAGS – this isn’t just a boutique for clothing. Rapture Fashions also has a selection of handbags and jewelry which is constantly being updated after items are sold.
They also offer INTERNET PARTIES. I wasn’t sure exactly what this involved so I checked it out. Looks like you and your guests receive a special shopping pass good for your “party week”. Everyone gets FREE SHIPPING as an incentive to buy during the party week. The hostess gets a % of sales to spend on herself plus free gifts. Looks like this is all done online (no physical party necessary, but still could be done for extra fun).
Thanks to Rapture Fashions, I received one of the tops pictured above….although mine was a different shade…..more of a shimmering taupe color. I was immediately impressed and knew right away this was not for wearing around the house……..I had to go somewhere! It’s fashionable and elegant….especially with the cascading ruffles and shimmer in the material. Paired with black dress pants or skirt, this is a great date-night outfit!
Best part….the Price: $24.50
My Take: I’m quite impressed with Jen at Rapture Fashions. She has started this business on her own and that in and of itself is admirable. She offers a great selection of fashionable items at a price that is reasonable and doesn’t break the bank. I love that! My only recommendation would be to have a few more clothing selections for the Moms out there who don’t quite have the pre-baby bodies anymore, but still want to look trendy at a great price.

Online shopping is fantastic because there are no obnoxious salespeople! Sure, there are no employees to answer questions, but there’s nobody hovering over me, asking me if I need help, pushing me to buy something I don’t want, or making me feel guilty for walking out of the store without a purchase!
