I’m in the mood to redecorate. My 3 year old has about outgrown the nursery theme we picked for her…..she’s growing up. I’m really starting to look at beds, bedding, and curtains too. It’s so much fun!

Here’s the story behind the popular nursery bedding online store:

In 2004, Laura Abro, a work at home mom with her second child on the way, was frustrated by her lack of options when trying to find the perfect crib bedding for her daughter’s nursery. With no time to run from store to store, she turned to the Internet, but was very disappointed with the available ecommerce stores. She found that they either had a very small selection of bedding sets or a poorly-designed and difficult-to-use website (often both!). She was inspired to build a better choice for new moms, and in early 2008, her dream became a reality with the launch of Baby Bedding Zone.

While we were always in the market for “girly” decor and crib bedding, there are plenty of baby boy nursery bedding and nautical baby bedding available……….although I love the shabby chic pattern above!

My daughter’s room has always been painted blue (with girly touches like a pink chandelier)……..and we never did have any curtains. I thought it was about time to change that. I discovered Sterling Anabella curtains…..oh my. Luxurious, yes. While we aren’t in the market for the matching baby bedding…. just look at it!

This is the Cape Cod – a set of 2 solid blue drapery panels with rod pocket top and white lining. 96″ long. Blue and white seersucker tie backs and box pleat valance are included.

Retails for $750 – now just $75!! That’s 90% off!

Made in the USA from 100% Egyptian cotton. It’s very soft and the curtains are quite thick……not thin like many you find in retail stores.

The window valance has a velcro top and is hung using a board 50″ wide by 5″ deep (Board not included).

I haven’t yet decided if I want to use the valance or not….I’m still debating. My only complaint is that the color of the Cape Cod curtains are a shade or two lighter than featured online or on the packaging it came with (although you can’t really tell from my photo). There are sooo many shades of blue!
