We all know the jingle…..

Many of us feel that way, don’t we? And even if you aren’t a coffee drinker, the aroma is wonderful. My favorite coffee cup right now is a bright red Folgers cup that I’ve been using for months….love it!

Did you see the Folgers announcement this week?

Two new products were unveiled:

Folgers Filter Packs Coffee
Folgers Instant Coffee Crystals

The filter packs couldn’t be easier……just place the filter pack in your coffee maker, add water, and enjoy! Less mess and easier clean up.

The instant coffee crystals are good for moms and dads on the go. The ones I received are the Classic Roast, which to me is much easier on the tummy, but not as bold and strong as my husband likes. What I really loved…….the recipe they included for a Caramel Iced Coffee for one, using the Instant Coffee Crystals. Perfect during this summer heat.

Caramel Iced Coffee for One

1/3 cup warm water
1 (o.07 oz) packet of Folgers Classic Instant Coffee Crystals
2 tbsp Smuckers Caramel Sundae Syrup
2 tbsp half n half, milk, or coffee creamer
ice cubes
whipped cream, if desired

Pour water over coffee in 8 oz glass. Add Caramel Sundae Syrup. Stir until dissolved.
Stir in half n half. Add ice cubes. Tip with whipped cream.

Easy and Delicious!

If I want a cup of joe, I have to get up early & go through Dunkin Donuts which is a guaranteed extra 250 calories (gotta have a donut too, right?) Plus it kind of defeats the purpose of drinking coffee to wake up. So my change would be —- get a coffee maker to make some at home!
