I’m a scrapbooker…..but sadly, I haven’t done much scrapbooking since my daughter was born. So. Very. Sad. I completely rely on professional photobooks right now, despite the huge selection of scrapbooking supplies in my closet. That’s just the way it has to be for now.

I used Mixbook for the very first time…..and love the photobook so much, that I’m showing it off to everyone. It’s my favorite book……and I’ve created a few. Of course, I had a bit of help from Mixbook’s amazing tools.

Since we recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday, I knew this was what I wanted to create. While I could have completely started from scratch (love that option), I found a template that fit with the theme and color scheme of the birthday party! Perfection!

The book has what I call the WOW factor.

A double spread. This is the first photobook, where I recall being able to do this. Oh, and I did it throughout the book, with so many of my favorite pics. Especially great shots like this one and of her and her friends in a group birthday picture. The double spread template option is a must-have!

Creating the book couldn’t have been simpler. It was completely customizable, which I loved. I could add and move text, stickers, borders, and more. I didn’t even have to edit the photo before dragging it onto the template…..which saved me an entire extra step from what I’m used to.

I’m definitely using Mixbook again, next time for a family project with my husband’s relatives. Mixbook allows users to invite friends and family to work on a project together, which is exactly what we need for the project. Love it and can’t wait to start.

It took something like this to realize that we don’t have many pictures of myself and the girls since I usually take the pictures. I would love to have one to create a memory book for us…..just in case (only at 50% health now)
