Frugal Friend

I’m proud to announce my 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Event! I do it for one reason and one reason only………

It’s Personal. I lost my mom 6 years ago. Both of my grandmas are survivors. I look at myself, my sister, my 4-year old little girl…….and I hope and pray.

Cancer may not have a voice, but I do!

The Blog Event will encompass:

  • Breast Health Information
  • Personal Stories
  • How we can help (those fighting and also families left behind)
  • Community, and an ability to share with each other in comments
  • Promotion of companies who help in this fight against breast cancer
  • Giveaways (to help promote those companies and products that help fund breast cancer research/causes)!

Yes, I’ll still be bringing you my favorite deals and coupon finds each day…..but this month is important and I hope you’ll visit often.

BLOGGERS….Please Grab My Blog Event Button and help spread the word.

As always, my blog event button was designed by Tricia Rennea! Please visit Tricia and check out her amazing work!

I think this is great! It hits home for me too. I lost my sister in law 3.5 years ago. I’m actually doing a giveaway this week to help raise support for a run we are doing in her memory. I’m excited to see what you have in store for us in October!

I may not have lost anyone I from Breast Cancer that I know of, but I do know people who have suffered from Breast Cancer and survived. I had my own scare last fall, I had 2 biopsies done and Thank goodness everything was okay. It opened my eyes even wider to the fact we need to help find a cure! I always give something even if it is a small amount for this and childhood cancers/leukemia. Keep up the good work getting this message out! I will continue to support it!
Thank you!

What a great way to get awareness out. I work with a small non-profit that is trying to get their message out and any recognition helps. Good luck with your efforts.

First ((((((hugs for you)))))) What a great thing you are doing. Breast Cancer hits home for me too – I’ve lost one aunt to it, have one aunt in remission and my uncle is currently fighting it right now … all are my moms siblings. I am participating in a BCA 5K race on Saturday.

Posting about this for my Aloha Friday this week :) Since I can’t seem to get the button to work, I am going to spread the word in an even stronger format like last year.
