This year, you might want to head to the Texas Motor Speedway during the holidays, but not for the usual car race.

Dallas/Ft.Worth will have a new attraction added to the Gift of Lights,  a drive-thru holiday spectacular light show, – SNOW!  And while it snowed here in Dallas last Christmas (2012), we can’t always be that lucky.

Beginning November 22 through January 5, 2014, guests will now have the opportunity to drive through the light show, play in the snow, and have photos taken with Santa Claus all in one location.

A unique outdoor snow experience features a tubing hill, snow ball gallery, snow castles, and a play area. Created using New Jersey-based SnowMagic’s patented technology, more than 100 tons of snow will keep the magic going throughout the holiday season.

This will be the third year at Texas Motor Speedway for the Gift of Lights.  Visitors can enjoy more than two million LED lights and 600 unique and exciting holiday displays across 1.7 miles at Texas Motor Speedway (3545 Lone Star Circle, Fort Worth)

Visit Gifts of Lights and Snow online for tickets and hours!
