Debra began her blog, A Frugal Friend, in the summer of 2008 on Blogger, and made the exciting move to WordPress with her own domain in January 2010.
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS EVENT: She hosts a month-long Breast Cancer Awareness Event each October in memory of her mother. The Event consists of personal posts, informational posts and reviews/giveaways to honor those companies helping in the fight against breast cancer. Companies involved have included Lee Jeans, Vera Bradley, Red Envelope, Pepperidge Farm, and many, many more. Please contact Debra for more information.
REVIEWS & GIVEAWAYS: She reviews many types of products for the household, families and children (she has one daughter, a preschooler). She also regularly reviews children’s books with her weekly post, Fiction Friday.
She is willing to host giveaways for certain products, provided that shipping to winners (and related costs) are handled by the sponsoring company. Product reviews are done on her own time (she’s a mom after all) , unless a time is specifically discussed. Review products must be provided at no cost to the reviewer AND review products will NOT be returned, unless specifically discussed. A positive review is not guaranteed, but if the opinion is extremely poor, she will contact you beforehand to give you the opportunity to decline the review.
