Happy Father’s Day.

But Father’s Day can be difficult for some……..

For those who have lost their fathers.

For those who never knew their fathers.

For those who had/have a difficult relationship with a father.

For those wanting desperately to be a father, but can’t.

For those who were abused by a father.

The list goes on and on.

A special prayer goes out to those of you………you are not forgotten.

That’s a wonderful prayer. I will add my positive thoughts for peace to all of those who are on your list as well. My husband is one who has a VERY difficult relationship with his father who was absent for most of his life, even though they lived in the same house. We pretty much ignore the day, though I try to make my husband feel special without bringing a lot of attention to it.

I feel lucky to still have my father here, but today, I made sure I made some memories and the time is getting short.

Thank you so much for this. This year was the first Fathers Day without my daddy. He passed away very unexpectedly in October. Its been really hard for many reasons. I was always Daddy’s Little Girl. I miss him more than anything. I tried not to ruin the day completely for hubby but it was hard. I’d like to think my dad sent me a little sign that he was okay and with my daughter (who was stillborn) since I had a dream the night before that he was with her.
